Since becoming a mother and having the privilege of teaching at a high school for the arts, I have been so inspired by the talent and dedication of young children turned artists.
They use their imagination to create a world around them. They find every tactic in the world to get what they want. They learn languages and how to navigate feeling and emotion. They explore each day like a new adventure. They do all of this while teaching me patience and showing me perspective everyday. Kids are brilliant and inspiring.
At J&O Creatives, our mission is to help students find personal and professional growth through the arts and to give them the knowledge they need to help them reach ultimate confidence and success. All of our leaders are working educators, industry and Broadway professionals. We thrive on teaching through experience and professional knowledge, pushing kids to exceed their potential and expectations with positive reinforcement, while showing the importance of commitment and responsibility. With that, we hope to instill courage, confidence, and professionalism in our young artists.
We provide a safe space for them to take risks and find their bravery. We give them permission to fall and fail with the power to get back up, and try again. We believe empowering kids with knowledge and confidence will be the key to their success.
